An estimated 15,000 people turned out for the Wings of Hope benefit air show at the Pocono International Raceway yesterday.
Proceeds will go toward paying for airplanes and support services of missionary enterprises, regardless of church affiliation.
The charitable, nonsectarian Wings of Hope organization will give the money to the flying Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in New Guinea who aid the people of the islands.
