‘Wings of Hope’

The plane was given to DaRosa on his 30th wedding anniversary in recognition of his 25 years of work in training flying missionaries. DaRosa is giving the plane to the Wewak Missionary in New Guinea. Schertz will fly the plane to New Orleans where it will be shipped to New Guinea. Schertz will leave next moth for Peru where he will fly Wings of Hope aircraft. DaRosa is faculty chairman of the SIU School of Aviation Technology located at Southern Illinois Airport.
